Biography
Olubunmi Lydia Soremekun is a lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
Currently pursuing her Ph.D., her advanced research and teaching expertise span critical areas of modern linguistics. Her scholarly interests focus on discourse studies, gender studies, multimodal discourse studies, and ecolinguistic studies.
Through these frameworks, she explores how language shapes identity, culture, and social structures.As an educator, she is dedicated to fostering critical thinking and analytical skills in her students, helping them understand the powerful role of language in contemporary society.
