Biography
Dr. Engr. Joseph Yakubu Oricha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Federal University Oye-Ekiti. He holds both Master of Science (M.Sc., 1996) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, 2000) degrees from National University of Ukraine. Professionally, Dr. Engr. Oricha is a Registered Engineer with the Council for The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is a Professional Member, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Corporate Member, The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and Member, Material Society of Nigeria (MSN). Dr. Engr. Oricha is a recipient of certificate of excellence awarded by Cymmy Associates in 2011. He was a Research Assistant at National University of Ukraine for four (4) years and a Lecturer at Beijing USA College of English, China for three (3) years. Also, Dr. Engr. Oricha has acquired over nine (9) years of teaching, research and administrative experience at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria before moving into Federal University Oye-Ekiti. He is a specialist in Electrical Power System Economics.
