Mr. Hassan Kuranga Abdullahi

Biography

Abdullahi Hassan Kuranga is a Lecturer II in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria. He is a Computer Engineering academic, researcher, and technology professional with interdisciplinary expertise in computer engineering, computer science, information and communication engineering, cybersecurity, computer networks, embedded systems, and emerging digital technologies.
He holds a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, an M.Tech. in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Akure. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
Abdullahi is a Certified Cybersecurity Professional through the Virtual Institute for Capacity Building in Higher Education (VICBHE) and a Charter Member of the Association of Ranking Professionals (ARP). He is also registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
His research interests include cybersecurity, fog and edge computing, Internet of Things (IoT), smart agriculture, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, computer networks, digital transformation, and hardware-software co-design. He is particularly interested in security and trust in fog-enabled smart agriculture systems and the application of data analytics to higher education..
